For Those about to Rock

Cowboys rookie kicker, Nick Folk, looks like he might be rocking out to AC/DC, but it was Folk who had just rocked the crowd in Buffalo with a game winning 53 yard field goal. The field goal gave Dallas their first lead of the game as time expired and catapulted the Cowboys to 5-0 for the first time since 1983.
On October 12th, Folk was named NFL Rookie of the Week for his performance against the Bills.

Tony Romo: NFC Player of the Month

Dallas Cowboys QB, Tony Romo, was named NFC Offensive Player of the Month after completing 72 of 121 passes for 1,199 yard and 11 touchdowns with three interceptions. His touchdown total is second in the league behind New England's Tom Brady, who has 13. Tony is also in competition with Tom Brady to determine who is banging the hottest chick this month, but the jury is still out on that one.

GFY: Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

Once again, the Rock & Roll HOF shows that it is nothing more than a bad joke. This is the most ridiculous group of nominees EVER.

The 2008 nominees:
Chic
Donna Summer
Madonna
The Beastie Boys
Afrika Bambaataa
John Mellencamp
The Dick Clark Five
The Ventures

WTF? Once again, acts like KISS, The Moody Blues, Chicago, Alice Cooper, Tina Turner, Steve Winwood, John Fogerty, etc. etc, get the shaft. I'm not a fan of everyone not in the HOF, but how are any of these people not in before Donna Summer and Afrika Bambaata? Most of the people going in these days are not what I consider Rock & Roll. My message to the RNR HOF is "Go Fawk Yourself" (using my best Tony Soprano imitation).
